Overview. Getting my start in independent business consulting in 2009, my early work included marketing strategy projects for a vintage umbrella retailer, a medical pathologist, and an international singer/songwriter. I then transitioned into the government sector, where I collected data for the U.S. Census Bureau and helped programs spend money and re-designed business processes for the U.S. Department of the Navy. Most recently, I conducted performance audits of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s business development and government contracting programs. In my consulting capacity, I work with start-up entrepreneurs and experienced business and public sector leaders on business planning and business process improvement projects. Mission. To provide exceptional service and servant leadership to develop and implement the best solutions for my clients by intimately understanding their situation and using all resources and fields of knowledge available to me.
Vision. To be the Delta Force of strategy consultancies:
- A nimble, elite team of professional, high-performance strategy consultants who have a well integrated command over all their faculties – mind, body, soul, and spirit; and
- The strategy consultancy that heads of state and government, world leaders, and captains of industry think of first when they need reliable solutions to their most perplexing problems.
Core Values
- Character. Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines character as, “One of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual; Moral excellence or firmness.” It doesn’t matter if you’re supremely intelligent or extraordinarily talented, if you’re not building on a solid foundation of good character, you run the risk of failure, whether you’re an individual, team, or organization.
- Effective communication. Effective communication is key to building good relationships and providing great service. I pride myself on providing clear, succinct, open communication promptly and regularly so that my client is always apprised of the status of the project and our relationship.
- Integrity. Similar to character, are you true to yourself, your principles, and values? I believe if you’re not living life with integrity, you’re wasting precious time and energy.
- Purpose. Everything that’s ever been created has a purpose and organizations are no different. All my actions on an engagement will be aligned with and serve the purpose of the engagement.
- Servant leadership. Servant-leaders achieve results for their organizations by giving priority attention to the needs of their colleagues and those they serve. They are humble stewards of their organization’s resources – human, financial, physical. Servant leadership requires a spiritual understanding of identity, mission, vision, and environment and can be applied in all directions – upward, downward, and laterally – in a hierarchical organization.
- Service. Service to others is what makes the world go around and allows humanity to collectively rise to new heights. My mission is based on customer service
- Truth. Although every individual’s perspective is different, by cross-referencing the perspectives of enough people, I believe you get closer to the ultimate truth. This is one of my key objectives on every consulting engagement – to discover as close to the ultimate truth as humanly possible and deliver this insight and value to you, my client.
